The 2010 Bal de Nuit fundraiser for the Oklahoma City Ballet replicated a Hollywood-style red carpet experience as its draw.
The theme for the 2010 gala was “A Night when you’re the Star”. Patrons arrived in camera-ready attire and were greeted by a red carpet and a crushing crowd of fake paparoozzo. Several dancers with the professional company of the Oklahoma City Ballet were on hand to present a live, edgy, modern dance adding to the kinetic atmosphere of the evening. Bal de Nuit or “dance of the night” is the Oklahoma City Ballet’s major fundraiser for the season.
Later in the evening all eyes turned to a silent and live auction items donated by a variety of Oklahoma City outlets such as the Thunder basketball team.
